Interesting article about writing

I found this article about writing and it had me thinking: Are you proud to be a writer

It had me wondering if I was proud to be a writer. I know there are times I wonder if all my time is worth it, but a lot of time I don't tell people that I do write. The looks I get when I want to be a teacher is bad enough, but mentioning I'm a writer will result in more looks that I do feel like it. Then I had a horrible moment where I wasn't proud to be a writer and that sucked very much.

So now I'm going to try and not let those thoughts get me down. It'll be hard, but I'm sure I can do it. *nods*
