Title: Changes
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 540
Pairing: Blaise/George
Warnings: None this time
Disclaimer: I own nothing. JK Rowling owns everything. No money is being made by me.
Summary: Blaise thinks about his future and how it's different than what he planned.
Notes: So this couple is eating my brain. I had to write this before I started on my fest fics. My to-do list is nuts XD. Now I would like to dedicate this to the Chatzy RP ladies for helping discover such lovely rare pairings. Now let's begin!
A few years ago, Blaise thought his future would be a loveless marriage with one of his mother’s friends. He didn’t think he would be with George Weasley, in his house, and reading a book on the couch. George’s children were another surprise. Blaise didn’t see himself as a father, until he met Fred and Roxanne. His hidden parental side appeared when he met his children during the summer.
Blaise was slowly changing, yet he didn’t mind.
“I believe you’re a bad influence on my children.” George walked into the living room and over to the couch.
Blaise looked up from his book with a smirk. “Really? What made you draw that conclusion?” He put the book aside as George laid back, putting his head in Blaise’s lap.
“Hmm, let’s see. Fred is smirking more often and have you heard his jokes? They’re funny, but with an underlying bite that I wonder where he picked that up from.” George raised an eyebrow at Blaise who grinned in returned. “Fred is a smart boy I’m sure he picked up these skills from a classmate.”
“Hmm, I’m sure. Then my sweet little Roxanne are making riddles and brain teasers so hard I heard a group of Ravenclaws have to figure it out. Lorcan and Lysander have to work together in order to solve it. Her wit has increased and the boys looking at her has to work harder to figure out her cryptic messages. I wonder where she picked that up from too.”
“Roxanne is a very lovely and special young lady. If they’re not wise enough to see it or want to spend time learning her, then they’re not worth her valuable time. Besides, what are they going to do when they meet me?”
“Us, you mean.” George grinned widely. He reached over and linked their fingers together.
“Yes, us.” Blaise grinned and squeezed his hand.
“You’re going to scare all her guys away. Hmm, or girls,”
“Let’s say anyone who wants Fred and Roxanne’s time will have to speak with us.”
“Sounds good. As long as you don’t scare them away with that glare or your questions,”
“They should be able to answer my questions. It’s nothing too complicated.”
“Yeah, if you’re not a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin,”
“Or a very clever joke shop owner,”
“Yes, that too,”
Blaise chuckled and ran his fingers through George’s hair. “I will not be as intimidating as you.”
“What makes you say that?” George hummed softly from Blaise’s fingers in his hair.
“You’re the father and a very creative prankster, who wouldn’t hesitate to use some of those methods for his children, right?”
“Correct, how did you know?”
“I’m starting to know you.”
“You are and I’m starting to know you too.” George sat up and loosely wrapped his arms around Blaise’s neck. “I’m starting to know that you’re an amazing kisser.”
“Really? How do you know that?” Blaise smirked and placed his hands on George’s waist.
“By a series of tests that I’m going to perform now,” George leaned forward and pressed his lips against Blaise’s own with a soft moan. Blaise tightened his grip on George’s waist as he deepened the kiss.
This wasn’t the future Blaise imagined.
It was better.
