Kenpachi walked inside the apartment placing his bokuto against the wall. He grumbled angrily as he walked over to the night table to collect the mail. He couldn’t believe how horrible the day turned out to be. Nnoitra picked today to be the biggest ass in the world. He just wouldn’t let up. Nnoitra picked fights with Ikkaku, Yumichika, Michiru, and Nel. Then the bastard had the nerve to challenge him to a fight. It took everything in Kenpachi not to kill Nnoitra.
Kenpachi growled angrily at the bills in his hand. His anger let up when he saw a letter from Yachiru’s school. He couldn’t wait to go back and scare a few teachers. Kenpachi walked into the living room opening his mouth to call Yachiru when he stopped. He grinned at the sight before him. A cartoon played on the screen while Byakuya and Yachiru slept on the couch.
Yachiru rested on Byakuya’s chest as Byakuya held her protectively. Kenpachi chuckled he never thought he come home to something like this. He walked over patting Yachiru’s head before leaning down to kiss Byakuya lightly. Byakuya stirred opening his eyes slowly.
“You’re home.” He said his voice rough from sleep.
Kenpachi nodded, “Yeah you beat me today.”
“I didn’t feel like staying after tonight.” Byakuya said. He stopped before replying, “You stink.”
Kenpachi chuckled, “I just got back from the dojo.”
“Hmm, how was your day?”
“Shitty, but I’ll tell you after my shower.” Kenpachi said.
Byakuya nodded, “Ok oh and we’re getting take out tonight.”
Kenpachi raised an eyebrow in surprise. “You’re not going to cook tonight.” He knew how much Byakuya didn’t like take out and opted to cook. Since, according to Byakuya, it was nutritious and taste better. Kenpachi didn’t care food was food as long as it taste good. Yachiru was happy with anything as long as the meal didn’t contain too many vegetables.
“No I don’t feel like it. Besides Yachiru suggested it she wouldn’t stop until I agreed to it.” Byakuya said.
Kenpachi chuckled, “That’s my girl.”
“Of course, but go shower and we’ll talk later.” Byakuya said.
Kenpachi leaned forward kissing him again before pulling back. He nodded, “Alright.” He stood up making his way towards the bathroom.
Kenpachi looked back over to the couch Byakuya fell back asleep. He chuckled He must have had a long day too. He pulled off his shirt along the way noting to put it in the hamper. Unless he wanted to hear Byakuya get mad at him for dropping the shirt on the floor again.
Kenpachi grinned as he started the shower. Coming home to see his boyfriend and daughter sleeping on the couch lifted his spirits. The promise of take out sounded even better. For such a crappy day it ended on a high note. He hoped for a similar day tomorrow. If he didn’t kill Nnorita by then that is.
There wasn't that all fluffy. ^^ Now Michiru is an OC I created to be placed in his kendo class. I wanted to do something involving the two for the new year. Well until next time as Gin says bye-bye. ^^
