Scorpius looked back at Albus in shock. Albus was a vampire. Scorpius felt good that Albus didn’t ignore him, but the idea of Albus as a vampire caused his palms to sweat.
I can’t believe Albus is hotter than before. How is that possible?
“Um, Scorpius?”
Scorpius looked up in Albus’ concerned eyes. Albus exposed his secret and Scorpius stood there like a fish out of water. He quickly found his voice. “Is that why your letters stopped?”
“Yeah, my dad thought it was better that way. Does it weird you out?” Albus asked.
Scorpius shook his head. “I’m surprised, but it doesn’t weird me out. I’ve learned to expect the unexpected with you.”
Albus laughed. “My family’s motto, I swear.”
Scorpius laughed, taking a seat next to Albus. “So, how does it feel?”
Albus shrugged. “I don’t feel too different, but I do get the urge to drink blood sometimes.”
“Have you…you know feed?” Scorpius asked.
“A few times, but I have these blood packets ready, so I don’t pounce on innocent people.”
“Oh ok,”
“You sure it doesn’t bother you?”
“I am, are you sure you wanted to tell me.”
“I am,”
“Why?”
“I trust you,”
Scorpius blushed.
