Things I love (008): Manga

I know I fell off, but I'm going to keep going with this! Next on things I love is Manga. Many great animes are wonderful manga!

I love manga! I discovered it in ninth grade and I kept reading it ever since. There are many notes and things in manga that they can't put in the anime and it's fun pointing out all those signs. I love learning about the process of manga (since I can't draw to save my life XD) and how they make so many amazing chapters week after week sometimes month after month or whenever their manga series comes out.

I love Shounen, Shoujo, Historical Manga (plots and storylines set around historical periods of Japan like Edo, Meiji, etc.), Yaoi, Yuri, Shounen-ai, Shoujo-ai, and the lists go on and on!

Currently I'm following: One Piece (LOVE THIS MANGA SO HARD! OMG!), Naruto (Even though it's edging towards Sasuke I've read it for a long time I have to see how it ends), Bleach (same explanation as Naruto), Skip Beat (funny Shoujo manga and I love Ren and Kyoko!), Genshiken (a manga about an anime club that reminded me so much of me and my friends) Yotsuba (cute little manga about a little girl named Yotsuba and her adventures in their neighborhood), and I think that's all right now.

I've completed: CCS (Card Captor Sakura), Ouran Host Club, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Babylon (Oh Subaru), FMA (Full Metal Alchemist), Gravitation (my gateway into yaoi/slash ^^), Hot Gimmick (drama type manga), XXXholic (yes to Doumeki/Watanuki!), Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Absolute Boyfriend (It was so cute), Ceres (cute, but dramatic), Tanpopo (It means dandelion in Japanese and is a very cute manga), various yaois, Please!? Sensei (I think it's the name. I know it's one of my favorites) MARS (beautiful story probably the first time I cried after a read it), Chobits (cute CLAMP series), DearS (so funny omg), Death Note (I will not accept L's death nope, nope. I love Near, but L!), Full Moon wo Sagashite, and I think that's it, but I'm sure there's more.

I love manga! The images are so lovely and there are some story lines I remember even if I read it in high school. Even though I was teased about it at home manga lead me to my awesome friends and gave me another place to go to when I wanted to read something and admire beautiful scene and people.

Manga is another one of my loves.
